Following the hard work on the cucumber farm, I've finally met a great desire and another achieved my objectives in this trip: to learn
diving!
And what can I say - it was just wonderful!
In Queensland it is the best place for the International Open Water Diver Tauchlizens for a max. 18 meters to purchase.
I have paid for a 4 day course $ 309 (medical examinations included), what are the equivalent of 160 euros. In
Schland you pay for the same license than 500 € ...
The dive school is very Proffessionnal. There in Bundaburg in the "Scuba Diving School" Right at the bus station, you can miss at all.
My Buddy, Peter of England has begun the course with me, and I could chew on Mondays through the medical examination and the theoretical part and then there are the same, the theoretical exam. On the 2nd day it was
become really exciting, training in the pool!
The pool was freezing cold, so the 16 degrees "warm" ... First
purely in the pool and then 4 lanes swim test. Yes, that's right swim test!
There tatseachlich people are not able to swim and dive allowed anyway:) Sounds funny, but as it is.
But is somehow so as to make a blind man NEN pilot's license will ...

decrease after the 2nd day in the pool with all the practical exercises such as diving mask and replaced, which yield complete Tauchgereat und wieder anziehen unterwasser, diverse Sicherheitsuebungen fuer Notfealle uvm. sind wir dann am 3ten und 4ten Tag raus ans Meer gefahren an die Balina Rocks, rund 10 KM von Bundaburg entfernt.
Natuerlich haben wir auch jede Menge Trockenuebungen gemacht wie Buddycheck des Tauchpartners ob alle Gereate richtig funktionieren usw. was beim Tauchen extrem wichtig ist, denn Sicherheit geht vor allem! Ein Notfall unterwasser kann schnell toedlich enden und das will keiner. Tauchen soll man geniessen und die volle Pracht der Unterwasserwelt erfahren und nicht Risiken ausgesetzt sein durch Fahrleassige handhabung des Scuba Diving Systems (Komplettes Tauchsystem vom Schnorchel bis zur Gasflasche). Zum Glueck haben wir alles aus guter Hand gelernt und konnten alles easy umsetzen und konnten somit problemlos und ohne grosse Furcht tauchen gehen...
Ein relativ felsiger Strand mit einer Art Pool zum einfacheren Einstig in die tiefen Geweasser die dort auf uns warteten...;)
Das war der Pool mit dem Einstieg, bei relativ heftigen Wellen. Wir sind bei Ebbe reingegangen und mussten ueber eine Felsformation steigen um in die Meerenge zu gelangen und das war ein echter Spass weil man sich da mal schnell paar kratzer geholt hat :)

After practical exercises down in the water to 6.5 meters deep, then we have always been freely allowed to dive 10 minutes, so just for fun after the dive instructor and have lots of fish and coral reefs observed even though the visibility was not the best with about 2 meters ... but that was on the day before the rain had stirred up massive sand.
It was all but on the whole, beautiful and in the end I have my Tauchlizens, as my buddy Peter also got, and I must say that I enjoyed the days diving properly.
diving is great! I can only! It makes fun and crazy is just awesome!
I still hope the Specialty course for wreck diving can make. For this you need a training course because you then up to around 60 meters deep can dive inside and may in the wreck. We'll see when the works ...

The entry here is speat I had right after diving bill on Thursday not have time to blog and went right on Friday after Rainbwo Beach there was lousy Internet connection and the mobile phone network, we do not at first talk;)
