with an average length of about 13 meters humpback whales are relatively small baleen whales, reaching a maximum of 18 meters in length. The weight is 25 to 30 tons.
Since Sunday the weather was still blessed with glorious sunshine, we have decided to be allowed to do at last the big gentle giant.
As the big moment in the area are on druchreise because we have used the course and are hoping to see a few, to Augusta (just south of Margaret River) went to Waltour.
There is no guarantee to see what was said to us and so we were naturally more than ever to what we would expect, or maybe not.
The trip went there by an enchanted forest with giant Trees and magnificent soundscape ... there was this is like in Lord of the Rings ...
Tried to the top to jump from one to habs almost done ...
then over the beautiful country roads to get to Augusta soon to our boat by 14 clock ...
arrived in Augusta, we could then with some other of our should Walfeahre (a catamaran with room for 50 or more) wait, and when we finally went out on it towards the open sea and half bay where the big gray alleged romp ...

Then we went to a rock formation that is populated by a lush sea lions and gulls colony.

Then we went around 40 Knt RETURN direction of the bay and in the distance they could see again and blow it this time were many whales ...
We then ran relative come close to you and you were so gregarious that you are partly swam under the boat ... At about 3.20 minutes a whale raises its huge head out of the water and I was lucky the captured well with the action to have then is still a dive under the boat ;) See for yourself:
Then we could go with them towards the sea. We simply ran starboard with you and were allowed to accompany you for a few minutes towards the horizon which was incredibly beautiful ...
Just watch and enjoy ...
Then we went to a total of 2 ½ hours later back on shore, and Frank and I were then indulged in yet delicious Fish & Chips in the last place before Antarctica and even took some pictures at sunset ... refers

What can I say, it was a wonderful day which will probably stay long in the memory and was fully enjoyed!
It was fantastically beautiful these wonderful animals to be allowed to live so close, considering that we are their biggest enemies, and contribute to their extinction ...
Bring me the horizon, Moby Dick, and much more ...
